Thanks Tanveer and Palanivel. Your solutions are slightly different at least syntactically. I tried Tanveer's first:
Extra ) in definition I ran the report for 7/7/14 as the action date and last login seems to work.
Note the second report with only a changed action date. Last login is clearly wrong. I'll show you query filters in next message.
