Dear Subramanyam,

Most of the manufacturing companies are facing the same problem and they are addressing this issue through material version.

Example: Material Number is 112210, if any changes you can use version like 112210/A later it will be 112210/B and 112210/C etc...

Kindly implement the same if it is suitable for you.
