Hello,
Alignment can be done in different places, but mostly in the Smartform. I can imagine that you can put additional spaces in a character field in the printprogram, but this shouldn't be done there.
So, here are a few suggestions:
- Smart Style used in the Smartform: check the used paragraph and the settings in the Smart style. It's possible to set a left margin.
- Take into consideration left, centered & right alignments (also found in the Smartstyle)
- Smartforms: check the node where the field is printed. In 95% of the printout, a text node is used. It is possible that some additional left/right spaces is added.
- Smartforms: for number outputs, default alignment is right while text is default left aligned.
- Field value output can be modified, is visible like '&MY_STRUCTURE-FIELD(C)&'. Meaning the value (other values possible) between parenthesis can have an impact on the output.
Have fun!
Best regards,
Zhou
