Automate a Cleansing Case from External List Management

Hi All,

I am not familiar with External List management I really appreciate your input and advice.

There is a requirement where when data upload are done via External List Management, and when a duplicate is detected, a cleansing case is to me automatically created.

I found this Duplicate Check - External List Management - SAP Library which states implement the BADI BADI_BS_DUPLICATE_FUZZY. Does this badi perform the cleansing case also? I don't really understand.

Do you have any idea as to how this can be achieved? Or the best practice for this to be done?
